"Office Demand Remains High"
Adrian Dolan, Associate Partner, comments that the high level of demand for new high specification office premises in High Wycombe is being maintained with very few buildings currently available. An example of this has been experienced at Comland plc's scheme, Mercury Park at Wooburn Green, close to Junction 3 of the M40, where the last two remaining units in Stage III have been let prior to practical completion. The buildings were let to companies within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries on fifteen-year full repairing and insuring leases at the asking rentals of £29.50 per sq.ft. exclusive. As with all the buildings at Mercury Park, the units have been constructed to a high specification including air conditioning, raised floors, Category II lighting and passenger lifts.

The level of demand for companies wishing to acquire space at Mercury Park has been such that the owners, Comland Commercial plc have signalled the immediate commencement of construction on Stage IV. This final phase comprises six units of between approximately 5,000 sq.ft. (465 sq.m) and 10,000 sq.ft. (929 sq.m).
